FISH FRY THANK YOU The Knights of Columbus thanks St Mary Immaculate and everyone who attended and volunteered at the 2015 Fish Fry. "A place where family, friends and the community gathers to share a meal together."

Knights of Columbus Good Shepherd Council 5573 Open House
The Knights of Columbus, Good Shepherd Council 5573 is pleased to announce an informative "Open House" program on Tuesday May 19th 6pm - 8pm, at 6pm. This special program will be held at St. Mary Immaculate grey house 15613 South Rt. 59, Plainfield, Illinois. The grey house is located at the north end of the St. Mary Immaculate parking lot.

The Knights of Columbus include Catholic men and their families – husbands, wives, children, widows, college students and religious people.

The Knights sponsor vocation awareness programs, ecumenical meetings, "Keep Christ in Christmas", community service projects, socials, activities for youth and families, our famous Lenten fish frys and much more.

The program will consist of 4 informative presentations. Each presenter will speak for 15 minutes followed by questions and answer sessions after each.

Stephanie Jones Kastelic from Overman Jones Funeral Home will provide information on "preplanning your funeral".

Jack Springmire, the Knights of Columbus insurance agent will discuss the Knights insurance programs and benefits.

Steve Zimmer will speak about membership and the advantage of becoming a Knight.

Jasmine Murillo, a United Healthcare advisor, will speak about health insurance benefits and different Medicare plans. There will be a short 20 minute break halfway through the program when pizza and soft drinks will be served.

This short program is intended to afford the opportunity of those attending to ask questions about the Knights of Columbus as well as the special topics presented.
Interested men and their families are invited to attend the open house. Widowers and widows are also welcome.

About Our Council
The Good Shepherd Council was founded on June 12th, 1964.

Our Council works closely with the St Mary Immaculate Parish in Plainfield, IL., providing support to various projects in our Parish and the Plainfield Communty.
